WHO WE ARE…

event planners + designers

On our team we firmly believe in meaningfulness. That’s why we will be in the back of the church dabbing at tears. Or asking to see your non-profits mission statement. Or calling you when we hear a great song for a processional we think you will like. Or stopping in our tracks when it’s time for speeches. We can’t help it. We believe in the importance of celebrating well.

Many event planners are not designers. We are sort of obsessed with it. Influenced by fashion, interior design, graphic design, art and even film…..we fill our imagination from many “wells of creativity”, but are truly inspired by YOU.

When we work together, we ask many questions to understand you and your event. We aim to make your event truly meaningful, a reflection of what matters most to you, so we can create a special event that captures the essence of your vision.

We even want to hear about what doesn’t matter to you, so we can focus on what does. We feel the personal relationships we create with our clients help us create better events for them. And from time to time, you will get to hear a bit about us and where our experience, vision and expertise comes from.

With extensive experience, we specialize in cultural customs, flowers, food, attire, music, and handling weather. We actively seek information and build relationships with professionals for top event advice. We continually learn and improve through education and industry collaboration.

In the end, we'll gather your event preferences, add our expertise (and a few surprises), and organize a detailed, well-planned event. We want you to relax and enjoy as a guest and co-creator.

Ready to meet the crew?

Shellie Reid Warner

Owner, Event Planner & Designer

I came into event planning organically with no real intention to focus on events, but always naturally drawn to designing, planning, organizing, and ultimately……celebrating!  From the early days of hosting parties, school events, and family weddings, I quietly moved on to more challenging festivals, competitive events, and non-profit fundraisers. Events just became what I did well, and loved the most.

My history taking cake decorating classes (yum), decades of enjoying photography, planting all kinds of flower specimens in my garden, dabbling in interior design or learning calligraphy (a lefties nightmare!) …all pointed me in the direction of events like weddings and galas. Add to that my need to create teams, committees, flowcharts, timelines and spreadsheets…..made organizing and planning events the perfect outlet.

So, here I am.  I guess it was just inevitable when I look back.

But when I am not completely immersed in anything to do with events, I love a good antique shop where I can mix up old stuff with new stuff and create new ways of using old things! A musty barn on a country back road beckons me to come explore.

On any given day, I prefer the outdoors to the indoors, beaches over mountains, and just relaxing in the sun. Patina is my favorite color, chocolate is my favorite flavor, and kittens are my weakness.  My three kids are my passion, but I love a good cuddle on the couch with my husband, two dogs and four cats (maxed out!) who leave little room on that same couch.

“Together we design and create a collection of moments that make your event… yours.”

Jill Reiner

ASSistant PLANNER

  • Jill is likely to be moving so fast she is a blur

  • She travels all over the country and can speak fluent “wine” since she has made any and all wineries and vineyards, a consistent destination.

  • She is our in-house timeline expert and will build in time for you to breathe, pee and rest on your day!

  • If you cannot find Jill, she is likely eating her lunch at 10 am somewhere on the premises to prevent getting hangry.

  • Ordering furniture is her jam and she loves to cut unnecessary items at the last minute to save our clients’ money.

  • Jill provides sunshine and paper towels on rainy days, but seldom has the need for the paper towels

  • Understands bustles. Nuff said.

Aliyyah Potts

assistant planner

  • Aliyyah puts her head down and gets to it. While you are describing your problem, she is already trying to solve it, when you are exclaiming you cannot find something, she is already searching for it…she gets stuff done.

  • You will never have to ask her what her favorite color is….just look at her laptop, nails, phone cover and packable wagon filled with your décor. It’s pink by the way.

  • She tracks Amazon trucks with her latest order online, for fun.

  • She makes a fabulous balloon arch!

  • Need lawn games? Photo Booths? Kid size chairs? She’s your girl.

  • Her smile can be pick up in space by satellites.

  • She loves her baby boy

Jennifer Oswald

assistant planner

  • Jen can be counted on for great ideas & opinions on event design and tiny details.

  • She will scrub a spot (also known as ca-ca) to make sure every linen is perfect.

  • She also moonlights as a bridal therapist with her amazing listening skills!

  • Her fun personality will entertain crowds (should the DJ not show up) and makes even the most nervous groomsmen…. Relax.

  • She doesn’t sweat. Period.

  • If you aren’t sure which of us is Jen, look for the one dressed the best and the perfect hair.

  • “Hustle” is her middle name and results is her game.

  • If you want your silverware parallel and polished…she’s your gal.

Taylor Miller

assistant planner & graphic designer

  • Taylor designs signage, paper goods, and more signage to tell guests where to go, what to do and what they’re eating when they get there.

  • Challenge her with a cool menu card or table number and she will blow you away

  • Designs those gorgeous packages for NEST candles (you know the one’s!) when she is not working events

  • She talks “snark”, so if you appreciate a humorous message, she’s your writer!

  • Loves ballroom dancing .

  • Casts a calming effect to all those around her (even in the chaos of shuttle buses stuck in mud!).

  • Cats, over dogs.

  • Knows her way with a generator and will work hard to conceal it in large patch of poison ivy without even a whimper.

Fontaine Wood

assistant

  • Fontaine is a recent graduate Northampton Community College’s Event Planner Associates Program

  • She has just enough of a Jamaican accent to make us all wish we were on the beach

  • Known for her kilowatt smile and ability to remember everything Shellie forgets

  • She always shows up prepared and leaves some remnant of her outerwear behind, so if you see gloves sitting around…they’re hers.

  • She works hard to learn every aspect of events and handles situations before you even know there was a situation

  • Has overcome her fear of fourlegged, tailwaggin’ furry friends…like she had a choice

  • Loves her baby girl
